A new way to do matchday at the Amex Stadium 

The Terrace has been introduced as a digitally enabled fan zone at the American Express Stadium, built to raise the bar for the matchday experience and create a destination that works beyond football. It’s designed to be seamless from the moment you arrive, with a digital-first customer journey, premium food and drink, and a layout that helps reduce queues and improve visitor flow. 

It’s also built with variety in mind. On home matchdays, it brings the atmosphere. On non-matchdays, it comes into its own as an events venue for sports screenings, music gigs and other ticketed events.

What is The Terrace? 

The Terrace is a purpose-built space that gives fans an unrivalled pre-turnstile and post-match experience on matchdays, while also operating as an events and entertainment venue on non-matchdays. It holds regular events throughout the year for supporters and the local community.

What makes it different? 

A digital-first experience 

Ordering is designed to be quick and flexible, using multiple channels such as app ordering, kiosks and bar terminals. Digital transactions are a major part of how the Terrace runs day-to-day, helping service feel faster and more streamlined when it matters most.  

Immersive screens and in-venue information 

The Terrace has been built around digital infrastructure, including dynamic screens that support live menus, promotions and wayfinding. This makes it easier to decide what to order, where to go, and what’s happening next.  

Food that feels local to Brighton 

A key part of The Terrace experience is the food identity. The food offer has been shaped by fan insight and designed to reflect local tastes, with named concepts that feel at home in Brighton’s food culture.  

What else happens here besides football? 

The Terrace isn’t just matchday-only. It’s hosts a variety of events all year-round including live sport screenings, music events, family events and themed experiences.
